A local guide to the road in the sea

The Atlantic Road is one of the most photographed roads in Norway. Yet there's no simple page telling you whether it's closed, where to park and which café is actually open. That's what we're building.

How we work

• Live data comes from official sources. Webcams from Statens vegvesen, weather from Yr. We never publish our own "open/closed" road status.
• Every listing has a source and a date. We show whether hours come from the venue's own website, its social media, or a third party – and when we last checked.
• No fake reviews. We describe places; we don't rate them with stars.
• Paid placements are always labelled.
